History
SONODEPOT began as a regional operation called Florida Medical Consultants, Inc. in 1985, and has grown over the past 23 years to become the leading national ultrasound specialty service firm. Our firm’s offerings include system sales, repairs, service and support.
Floyd McAuliffe
President/Founder
Floyd’s career has been dedicated to the ultrasound industry since 1982. In 1985, he founded SONODEPOT (formerly Florida Medical Consultants, Inc.). Before independent ultrasound service was available anywhere, he chartered a new course many have followed. He has served on the Florida Biomedical Society Board.
Jack D. McAuliffe, CBET
CEO
Jack has been working in Biomedical Electronics since 1978. He became a business partner in SONODEPOT (formerly Florida Medical Consultants, Inc.) in July 1988. He has overseen the growth and development of SONODEPOT and its staff while also continuing to utilize his technical expertise in specialized Diagnostic Ultrasound Equipment maintenance.
